I’ve already adapted this story, but reading it gives me some other things to think about. The main difference in this story is that it has a heavier focus on dialogue, and the lion features even more prominently than before. He is also the incarnation of what is essentially a god. Perhaps I should refocus my writing efforts on dialogue.
